Venue Description:
In an area once famed for its concentration of impoverished hacks, aspiring poets and literary satire, Tom and Ed Martin, responsible for acclaimed venues such as The Gun in Docklands and The Botanist on Sloane Square, have opened their latest City venue, Chiswell Street Dining Rooms.
Located on the corner of Milton Street and Chiswell Street, in the original home of the Whitbread brewery, the bar and restaurant now evokes an atmosphere of abundant good times.
Providing the best of new and old-fashioned British cooking, courtesy of head chef Richard O’Connell, who previously worked at The Groucho Club and One Aldwych, Chiswell Street Dining Rooms is open for breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner.
Divided into three areas, literary inspired art and typography adorns the walls in the restaurant combining stylish leather tub chairs, luxurious banquettes and a colour palate of creams, greens and golds.
Come and enjoy one of Chiswell Street Dining Rooms’ signature cocktails or a top quality microbeer at the stylish leather clad bar, the ideal place to meet, drink and dissect the day, or why not book a table in the calm, elegant surroundings of the dining rooms, ideal for a relaxed breakfast, business lunches or a get-together with friends and family.
