Venue Description:

The Golden Fleece is a renowned Greene King pub famous for its real cask ales and high quality food. Situated in the heart of the city and only a stones throw from Bank and Monument tube stations. The Golden fleece is a very popular with office workers and tourists alike who enjoy the friendly attentive service given by the team. The pub can accommodate private functions in its downstairs function room. It is perfect for birthday parties, social gatherings or just for drinks after work. You are welcome to bring a DJ or have a go at Karaoke.

The private room is also great for quiz nights seating approximately x30 around the tables. It is eqipped with an LCD plasma screen and buffet menus are available on request


Packages:

Hire the private function room FREE of charge. There is NO minimum spend and NO hire fee. All you need is a deposit to secure the booking, which is of course redeemable on the night.

The pub offers whole vneue hire on Saturdays for private functions only in which case a minimum spend does apply. Please call us for more details.


Further information:

On the last Thursday of every month there is live entertainment when governor, Joe, struts his stuff with the band “The Mutts Nutts” entertaining the crowds with classic rock n roll and rock music. The band also has guest guitarists from Thin Lizzy, Mott The Hoople, The Yard Birds and The Heavy Metal Kids appearing on the evening along with others.
