Have your own pub for a day! The Hat and Tun is available for your exclusive use on weekends for up 100 people: ideal for birthdays, office parties, engagements or wedding receptions! In addition to our usual wide range of beers, wines and spirits, bespoke canapé, fork and buffet menus can be arranged to suit your requirements. Decks are available to hire and we can arrange a DJ or any other kind of entertainment. Quiz nights, locally brewed beer tastings or wine and cheese tastings can all be happily arranged by our events team.

Private dining at The Hat and Tun

Our newly refurbished Dining Room upstairs at The Hat and Tun seats up to 10 people around one long mahogany table. The room is adorned with stunning oak wall panels, it features an original open Victorian fireplace and is an ideal setting for private breakfast meetings, lunches or dinners.

For a fantastic dinner party, why not order from our 'Feast Menu' and enjoy delights such as rare breed 'Beef Wellington' or a whole roast suckling pig to share with your friends/colleagues!

The room is also available for all day meetings
