Venue Description:
Located directly opposite The Royal Opera House in a beautiful Grade II listed building, this is a splendid airy restaurant which uses its balcony location to great advantage with daylight flooding through the copious glass walls and roofing of the terrace.
The Cafe Bar claims to be the longest zinc bar in the UK and was imported specially from Paris. The entrance to the Zinc Bar is from the Jubilee Market and has an al fresco section seating 35. The terrace seats up to 56 and is equipped with heating lamps which extend the Covent Garden summer by a good few weeks every year. The Cafe Bar serves straightforward French food and there is also a choice of sandwiches and salads.
