Venue Description:

…For city folk who like a little country living. Bumpkin, Notting Hill’s newest food-lovers’ hangout, is a four-storey delight offering traditional country cooking with a British focus. Bumpkin serves the best quality, simple, no-fuss food, set in unique and welcoming ‘funky country’ surroundings. Bumpkin isn’t about preaching to eat our ‘5-a-day’ greens, or judging on whether we buy organic produce. Bumpkin is about offering the very tastiest food we can, and if that means searching for the finest ingredients from sustainable, Fairtrade or traceable sources, then so much the better.

Ground Floor

The Casual Brasserie seats 46, and features large windows, sharing tables and rustic furniture. Fresh, market fare from a changing menu is prepared in the open kitchen which dominates this floor. Tan leather banquette seating and chunky antique oak tabletops work together to create a farmhouse kitchen feel to the room.

First Floor

Bumpkin’s first floor Restaurant has a slightly more ‘grown-up’ feel, is available for bookings and seats 42 guests. It’s open for dinner, and offers an all day Sunday lunch menu - ideal for lovers of a British Sunday Roast. Here banquette seating and richly upholstered chairs create a luxurious feel while wall lights made of original hopsacks from a Kentish farm remind customers that at Bumpkin the country is never far away.

Second Floor

The second floor is Bumpkin’s Private Dining Room with a private bar and can accommodate up to 30 guests. It has three large communal tables and baronial style antique chairs - some in their original leather and some re-upholstered in richly coloured and textured fabrics.

Third Floor

The Attic house 30 guests and are furnished with a random and shabby collection of comfortable chairs and sofas, card tables and rugs. Guests immediately feel at home in this eclectic country house. These rooms are available for private hire or simply to relax in with an aperitif after dinner. Here, an extensive range of whiskies are proffered by a Whisky Sommelier, coupled with games such as chess, poker and backgammon.
