Venue Description:
The splendidly proportioned Livery Hall houses the Livery Company’s fine collection of Royal Portraits dating from the late seventeenth century to the present day. It also has magnificent stained-glass windows showing the arms of the Liverymen who have been Lord Mayor of the City of London and others who have played a prominent part in the Company’s history.
On the walls are hung a wide collection of historical portraits together with the Royal Charters granted to the Company by Elizabeth I, James II, George VI and Elizabeth II.
As a venue for pre-dinner drinks or for a smaller lunch or dinner party, the Court Room makes an ideal setting. The Painted Chamber is decorated with original painted panels executed in the early 18th century for the previous Hall and is an intimate setting for business meetings or small lunches. Fitted with a comfort air-cooling system. The Livery Hall is ideally proportioned to host conferences, dinners and receptions for up to 250 guests.
