Nestled away at the top of Angel, over looking Upper Street on one side and St. Pancras Station on the other, hides an exclusive gem, an intimate venue like no other in the area. The Chapel bar is a 280 capacity, split level venue with a large, newly redecorated ground floor bar with designated covered smoking area and capacity for 180 people. The first floor Venetian Chandelier Bar includes a spacious heated and enclosed roof terrace, with a second covered smoking area which suits up to 100 people. These areas can be hired individually or as a whole. Established in 1999, The Chapel Bar has grown from strength to strength by hosting high profile corporate events, media launches, wedding receptions, live gigs, clubbing events and private parties. Alex Foley, the proprietor, prides himself in keeping an exceptionally high standard, both of service and delicious homemade Mediterranean cuisine. Whether you desire a Summer Wedding, Formal Business Meeting, or Office Christmas Party, we aim to provide you with the best in food, drink, entertainment, music and service. Our catering service is well-reputed, with a host of options encompassing a canapé reception, hot plated buffet, finger food or a formal dinner (for up to 80 people). We offer a host of special extras, from a 40” Chocolate fountain, Red Carpet arrival, flower arrangements, transportation and more. Every client has the option to meet with the management personally to make sure that all the finer details are catered for. DJ facilities are available in both bars, for your DJ or ours, MP3 play-lists or live music and bands.
Outside area: We have an outside smoking area on the ground floor, and a terrace with both a smoking section and a non smoking section seating up to 40 people.
Entertainment:
Monday is open decks night (DJ invited to play 45 minute slots), Fridays have DJ’s playing as a part of a club promotion, Sundays have an all day party with Dj’s playing all day long.
Own Catering: No. Some provisions may apply with a catering charge to use kitchen.
