Venue Description:
For many, the most impressive part of holding an event at Tate is the high-calibre of its Events Team. The sheer scale of the building means that each team member is an authority on every venue on offer, coupled with extensive knowledge of the London events scene. Right from the beginning, your own Event Manager will be working closely with you to understand your vision, fulfil your ambitions and bring your ideas to fruition. With your objective always top of mind, their expert knowledge of the spaces will make certain your event is nothing short of a success. And that same Event Manager will be with you to the end of the event and beyond. So you can enjoy complete peace of mind, from start to finish.

CAPACITIES
Reception 150
Dining 100
Presentation 100
Take the elevator up to the seventh floor of Tate Modern, walk a few
paces to the right and here, soaring above the river Thames, the
Millennium Bridge, and directly opposite St. Paul’s Cathedral, is The
East Room.
With floor to ceiling glass windows presenting unblemished views
of the Thames, The East Room is an exceptional space that offers an
extraordinary experience.
Accommodating between 100 and 150 guests, the room itself has a
variety of uses; for a presentation, reception, or dining. And it can be
engaged for the day or evening.
From this seventh floor vantage point, the full panorama of London is
breathtaking, and a private guide who can point out key landmarks
and explain the rich history of London can easily be arranged.
Members Room
The Members Room is a destination in its own right. In fact, the
view of St Paul’s Cathedral is as inspiring as many of the pieces
held in Tate Modern’s collection.
Positioned on the sixth floor and with the benefit of an exclusive
balcony to the north and south sides of the building, this is an ideal
venue for a breakfast event or evening reception for up to 120 people.
Your guests can also enjoy their own private viewing, because
every year an artist is invited to use the room to exhibit a specially
commissioned mural.
A minimal and relaxed space that’s often bathed in sunlight, The
Members Room is a place where guests can indulge themselves in
style, sophistication and London chic.
