The Alexandra is a historic, traditional style pub oozing with character.  In the summer, you can enjoy the sun shining into the Balcony Bar or have a drink outside on the corner of Clapham Common. During the winter, you can snuggle in the long wooden benches with a group of mates by the fire. We are also famous for our devotion to sport. We show all the major sporting events including football, rugby, cricket, Irish football and hurling and anything else that’s of interest on Sky or Setanta. We’ve got two floors with a large bar on each floor. There are 2 big screen’s upstairs and 5 TV’s in the main bar, so we can show more than one event with sound at the same time in different areas. The bar is strictly for over 21’s. The Balcony Bar upstairs provides a perfect place to host a party, function, event or meeting.  We are happy to reserve a whole area, or even just a table, for any type of party at no charge as long as we can fit you in! 

We have a large Balcony bar just off Clapham Common that is perfect to host your summer party. With the sun shining in through the open glass doors and a large bar to serve up the drinks, it’s a perfect place to get everyone together for your summer bash!
