The West Wing at Ickworth near Bury St Edmunds is part of The Ickworth Estate, set in 1800 acres of beautiful Park & Gardens. The Ickworth Estate was home to the Hervey family for 600 years and was passed to the National Trust in 1956. The shell of The West Wing of Ickworth House was completed in 1841, but work to finish it internally began in 2004 when the national Trust started development.

The West Wing now offers elegant facilities for functions, conferences and events from 30 to 220 people and is managed by Sodexo Prestige.

The Gallery is the largest room and can seat up to 220 people both for conferences and dinners. This elegant room has wonderful views over the Italianate gardens and is fully equipped with full audio visual facilities.

The Court is a smaller room catering for numbers up to 60.

The attractive Restaurant and Orangery are also available for private hire with the beautiful Italianate gardens for pre dinner drinks, with the amazing backdrop of the Rotunda.

There is a dedicated Event field at Ickworth which can accommodate many different types of event. The site is close to the main house with plenty of parking space separate from the main visitor car parking.

The West Wing is perfect for weddings and wedding ceremonies. Brides are offered exclusive use of the first floor of the West Wing and can also use the beautiful gardens for pre reception drinks. There are wonderful opportunities for wedding photography including the Temple Rose Gardens, the spring garden and north lawn.
